My dear Christian Brothers & Sisters,

Please find below a copy of the Whatsapp message that I got from Sergio. who is an elder at the church in Atacames.  I also include some photos of the disastrous flooding in Atacames:

“Good morning Larry the pastor house thank God only got 3 inches of water the church is still safe about 10 meters away from the water we are giving shelter to 20 families in the church and three elderly people that live together that the river took the house away with the violence now this and no tourist you can imagine there’s no money here in Atacames for everyone everyday we have to turn away Children and Families because we cannot feed them all and it’s heartbreaking”
